PADI Discover Scuba Course
This is a one-time introduction to Scuba Diving, perfect for those not sure about committing to the full Basic Open Water Scuba Course. It is a short, one-hour eLearning session you do at home, followed by a one hour pool session. In the classroom, students will learn the very basic Scuba Diving safety practices. In the pool, students will be introduced to the equipment necessary to scuba dive, will practice a few basic skills, and dive around the pool in order to get acquainted with the equipment and feel of scuba diving.

ADDITIONAL COSTS: None! All equipment and classroom materials are provided for you!
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 10 years or older
Must be able to swim
Must be able to support themselves comfortably in the water

Location: Classroom session is completed at home by eLearning or in a class group setting in the Portland metro area. The pool sessions will be held at a local pool in the Portland metro area. and the open water weekend checkout dives are located in the Hood Canal or Puget Sound in Washington.
