PADI Specialty Courses
PADI Specialty courses cover all manner of diving activities and are a perfect way to gain specialty dive training in the specific area you’re interested in! Some specialty courses are classroom only, designed to expand your diving knowledge, while others combine classroom, pool, and open water dive portions, to expand your knowledge base as well as experience level. Specialty courses are a great way to continue diving and are required for the Master Scuba Diver Certification.

ADDITIONAL COSTS: Course costs may not include required books/ materials. Please contact us for complete cost course details or see the Specific Specialty Page. Students are responsible for costs associated with the open water weekend including, but not limited to: gas, food, accommodation, and air fills ($8-$10 each). Students are also responsible for renting, or providing, their own equipment for the open water weekend, as well as any specialty equipment required for dives.
SCHEDULE: We Have a different specialty course offered each month. Talk to us about our specialty of the month program. We can teach any of the specialties at any time, please contact us if the specialty you are interested in is not on the current schedule.

Available Specialties
Dry Suit Diver: $250
Dry Suit Diver you will need to complete Virtual Classroom, one pool session and one open water weekend. Open water weekend is in Hood Canal or Puget Sound
Please select which class group works for you. you must attend all sessions in group.
Virtual Class: February 13 7pm. Pool Session: February 15 7pm to 10pm. Open Water February 25
Virtual Class: May 2 7pm. Pool Session: May 4 7pm. Open Water: May 13
Virtual Class: August 15 7pm. Pool Session: August 17 7pm. Open Water: September 16
Nudibranch Awareness Diver: $100
Nudibranch Awareness Diver you will need to complete Virtual Classroom and one open water day. Open water day is in Hood Canal or Puget Sound
Virtual Classroom: May 16 7pm Open Water: May 20 2023 10am

We offer over 20 PADI specialty courses. If you don’t see a schedule for the one you want, just email, call, or text us as we can get those scheduled for you as needed. Pleases check out PADIs website for all specialty classes available. Then contact us for which class you would like to register for if it is not listed above.
Location: Classroom session is completed at home by eLearning or in a class group setting in the Portland metro area. The pool sessions will be held at a local pool in the Portland metro area. and the open water weekend checkout dives are located in the Hood Canal or Puget Sound in Washington.
To Sign up: Please call, text, or email to sign up! Classes must have four students enrolled to proceed, and there must be at least four students for an instructor to hold an open water weekend.
